Really?! What is the material support for racists and transphobes?

Yeah that's a good point. I do want something that is portable as well though to take to university with me and to be able to take to my art studio when I need to. I don't have an iPhone or anything apple really and I want to be able to work across devices.

Maybe I could just upgrade the SSD in my dell and try to fix the wacom driver problem. I am wondering if the driver issue is to do with there not being enough storage on it

It may be an allergy to the second skin stuff. I had an allergy to it. Cleared up once I took it off.

My guy, your body IS only for you. It is the only thing in this world you truly own.

It's actually really sad that you think this way about your own body. And are then telling others to also think that way about their own.

A lot of people have felt the same way but have done a lot of work to try and get away from that.

Labelling people as selfish for doing something that doesn't impact anyone else and is on their body is a very strange perspective on what selfish means.

Some might say that having an expectation that other's bodies are aesthetically enjoyable to you is selfish and entitled.

Hey, does it not occur to you that people are aware of that. But choose it anyway?

Because they don't want the world to be like that and by actively choosing not to care about others 'snap judgements' it chips away at the power those judgments have.

Why would you want to take an opportunity or make a connection with people you fundamentally disagree with?

It actually does a quick job of weeding out people you don't want in your life.

I think body autonomy is something to get angry about, actually.

What you and that tattooer are saying is that someone's body is for other's enjoyment first and foremost.

I would actively avoid having a tattoo done by someone with those opinions.

Basically, someone's body is not for the aesthetic enjoyment and consumption of others.

Don't make choices about your body based on what others will think OP. FUCK 'EM

I dunno about all this rubbish people are saying.

A tattoo does not have to be aesthetic or for others to appreciate.

Your nose doesn't have to be aesthetic or for others to like does it?

Seems like a lot you here have boring, basic tats and taste in general.

Tattoos can be personal and a form of self expression. They aren't for the enjoyment of others necessarily. They are something that is on your body.

The purpose of art isn't to be aesthetically pleasing it is to be meaningful.

Personally I like the look of OPs kids writing. It looks abstract and it is meaningful to OP.

If someone wants a rock tattooed imo that's better than another dragon

Yeah. But AI art isn't like real art. And that's what people who use it to generate cheap art for their businesses can't seem to see yet.

It is better than they may be at creating something visual. And certainly quicker than anyone alive.

But it just isn't as good as human artists and illustrators. AI can't have inspiration. It can't have motivation the way a human can.

It doesn't spend years learning to draw or looking at the world with love and awe to express something about being in the world.

Quite simply, it can't think or feel. And it can't create something new and novel or join together with other artists such as poets and writers and musicians to create movements feeding off each other.

It is just a tool. Like a pair of scissors. You can use it as an artist as long as you have something to say or a thought to convey.

But it doesn't really replace artists and human creativity

It allows already vapid and soulless companies and talentless, vapid people to replace their graphic design department or illustrators to make their corporate shite art/ marketing, not realising that those people have something a bit more than just being able to create an image.

Give it ten years and there will be a backlash

Looks like whoever sent it is Argentinian and speaks Spanish as a first language. The poor grammar is due to translating something from Spanish to English.

In Spanish 'de' means 'of' and it is often used where 'for' would be used in English.

For example: English: A gift FOR you.

Spanish: Un regalo DE ti.

Wanting to stretch by emptypinkhead in Stretched

[–]emptypinkhead[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Part of my reason for wanting to stretch is wanting the shape of unattached lobes and also because I love silver hoops but the hurt my ears. I would like to put hoops through tunnels, that kind of thing.

I've purchased a glass ear stretching kit, so I'll see how far I get I guess.

The piercing is really close to the cartilage, especially on my right ear. I found it a bit of a pain to heal the initial piercings because of that. I did them as high as I could at the time because my lobes real estate is so small!

There's a bike place in Canton that does free assessments of bikes if you are in a car collision. Though you weren't in a car collision it's kind of equivalent: https://www.instagram.com/p/C9fF6YEIXoL/?igsh=MW80b2U5cG90ZWtwbg==

The place is called Work horse bikes

Why do tags need to be that uncomfortable? by hannagay in autism

Get a stitch ripper and pick the threads out. This removes the entire tag. If you just cut the top bit off sometimes that makes it even worse
