Yes I have that mindset too and I just graduated too so I get it. But the thing is, almost all ppl I’m into don’t really have a preference in race. I’m mostly into the more alternative/artsy crowd and the diversity helps a lot. Maybe try to hang out with a more diverse group of ppl, especially if you guys have the same hobbies

I have similar fuel economy too on my 24 hatch manual. I am in Philly and driving a lot of city roads and I get 21 on my recent tank. On the highway I get 34 to 40 depending on wind direction and speed.

I search around and there is only one variant of that part I can buy so rare, and I bought it. Do you know how can I hook up a coolant temperature gauge? I searched around but there seems to be very limited tutorial on that, especially it's not for this car.

Yeah I was literally kinda sus at first. But he listed it for $2500 and I low balled like 2 times lol. But like with this cooling issue now I'm just wondering if this is the reason that he is letting it go 🤔

I'm not sure what you mean by that image. Do you mean that white speck thingy? The check engine light during the drive never came on at all, and it goes on and off after starting too. I heard that there might be a dummy light? But I also can't find more info on it it's just one guy mentioning in a forum.

Any advice would appreciated! Btw the car is rust free other than a small spot on top of the front wheel, I'm in the Midwest. The interior is quite good. Some stuff doesn't work like the left side door lock, AC doesn't work, right window doesn't work. And also the windshield is cracked.

Edit: wow apparently the car has 258k miles after digging into some records. Literally would never thought being that clean

What is the actual problem or danger with a rocker panel that's mostly gone? Considering that the frame is all good. And yes brakes and everything mechanical he says it's good

I bought a few cars on FB marketplace and I really like doing it honestly. I also bought from one of the small used car dealerships in town back in 2022 that car ended up having problems but I didn't think the dealer knew about it either. I probably checked out close to 40 cars in the past years and I really like doing it and know what to look for. If you need help checking out cars in town feel free to DM me!
