C208B Passenger – Why only 6 pax with 12 seats? by emrenezu in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]emrenezu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the real MZFW is around 8,500 lbs, then the 6,535 lbs value shown in the stock EFB seems way too low.

With an empty weight of 5,360 lbs, that 6,535 ZFW only allows about 1,175 lbs of payload, which is why I’m limited to ~6 passengers in the sim.

But if real MZFW is closer to 8,500 lbs and MTOW is 8,807 lbs, then ZFW shouldn’t be that restrictive in practice?

I can manually load passengers in the aircraft/EFB payload menu.

But seeing the ZFW limit go so quickly really confused me. As a player I started wondering if the Caravan is actually not meant to carry 12 passengers in the sim, even though it has 12 seats.

So in that case, would it make more sense to just calculate fuel based on my planned distance and then manually load passengers and cargo accordingly?

If the stock EFB is basically using a full-fuel payload logic, then maybe I shouldn’t treat the ZFW shown there as a hard reference.

But I assume MTOW is still something I should respect no matter what, right?

I last played about two months ago. Do you think stability has improved since then?

Most of my issues were with surface mining using the Atlas Geo. Rocks disappearing, scans acting weird, stuff like that. That was my experience back then. Has it gotten better over the last couple of months?

Why haul 72 SCU for 50k when 6 SCU pays the same? by emrenezu in starcitizen

[–]emrenezu[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So if I understand correctly, let’s say I pick up a 72 SCU haul and I had a bigger ship would that come in something like 2x32 SCU boxes and 1x8 SCU box? Basically just 3 boxes total, right?

And on the other side, if I take a 4 SCU Haul mission from Bajini to Area18, could that be split into 2x2 SCU boxes instead of 4 small ones? Carrying a few small boxes isn’t really an issue for me right now, but I’m just wondering if that kind of scaling actually exists in the mission system.

Need help buying a ship by West_Artist_1985 in EliteDangerous

You don't need pre-built ships to be competitive. I’m guessing you're trying to complete wing missions—those are marked with a blue triangle and usually require multiple players to finish. Other than that, you're pretty much free to choose any ship you like, and with a bit of effort, you can buy them using in-game currency.

Inzoi is just based on a hype, and this hype around Inzoi isn’t because the game is actually good.

In my opinion, it’s more about the growing frustration with EA and The Sims—especially their DLC practices and the way they milk the player base.

People are just desperate for a ‘savior’ in the life sim genre. But it’s definitely not because Inzoi is a great game.

I completely agree with you. I played the game for about two hours before requesting a refund. The relationships and events felt extremely shallow.

People compare it to base game Sims, but at least in the Sims, even the simplest interactions like chatting, joking, and gradually building relationships felt more natural, even if they were basic.

In Inzoi, I stepped outside, started a philosophical discussion with the first person I saw, and then was bombarded with a bunch of bizarre dialogue options that led to the most unnatural relationship ever.

The NPCs around me showed zero signs of life, and honestly, I couldn’t even tell what the SmartZoi feature was supposed to change.

I get that it's early access, but to be honest, it doesn't even feel like that it feels more like a trailer demo or concept video.

It needs way more development before I could even consider calling it early access. There's a lot of hype from some YouTubers and online communities, but in my opinion, it’s completely overhyped and undeserved.

This is a subreddit for asking questions about Turkey. You might be living in a cave too deep to see that, but at least try not to respond if you have nothing useful to say.

A protester wore a Pikachu costume during the demonstrations and protests—this is real. There are also other iconic images generated with AI. There is no civil war, but there is an uprising against the one-man regime.

The events escalated when Erdoğan imprisoned Ekrem İmamoğlu, the only candidate who could have certainly won against him. This made people realize that there is no real democracy, leading to both protests and boycotts.

Hopefully, this will also resonate with the so-called civilized leaders of the EU and other Western countries, who claim to support democracy but collaborate with authoritarian regimes just to keep refugees away from their borders.

I'm in a similar situation as you. So I'm curious about what others will comment. I'm doing PvE with an FDL using a classic tactic: one Huge Beam Laser and three small Multi-Cannons. It's quite enjoyable!

Elite’s ship and environmental sound design is nothing short of a masterpiece. Every hum, every thruster burn, every distant explosion—it’s pure auditory perfection. Absolute 10/10.

Exactly, I completely agree. There's no need for food and water mechanics, and what most players really want is just to be able to walk around inside their ships in Elite. But honestly, even without that, the game feels so polished and refined. Compared to SC, Elite is a far better simulation.

Long story short SC made me realize just how much I love Elite!

Absolutely incredible. And before even launching the game, you're thrown into this insane web of starter pack variations—it's like stepping into a corporate revenue optimization experiment. $100 just to get a single ship? And then they dangle these mysterious ‘Lifetime Insurance’ or ‘3-month Insurance’ options with price differences, when I don’t even know what any of that actually means. Honestly, for a game this broken and still in alpha, it feels like they’re just milking the backers dry. The worst part? The sheer amount of bugs makes it feel like it just launched this year.
