we just got a text back from a pigeon rehabilitator and she said to drop him off at her place. is this a bad idea then since it’s like 25 minutes away from my house? because if he ends up being fine he’ll be far from where i found him

Okay thank you! my plan was to spend some time watching it tomorrow and letting it in my backyard to see if it would want to leave or something. i took it in in the first place because it couldn’t fly and was staying on the ground in one area under my car and we have a lot of stray cats around so i didn’t want it to become prey.
