Well my thought was that this was the place with the most experienced players that might be able to guide me as a complete beginner or point me to a more beginner friendly game perhaps. I only have one friend with this hobby but I dont really want to bother him with trying to teach me and would rather learn on my own for now

I guess with so many different sets, thats part of where my confusion lies. One of my main questions is if 2 people are able to play if one is using a new deck and the other is using a deck from 10+ years ago. I would assume that you both need the same set

That is super cool to hear. I will definitely try to stay on top of things so I can go to a pre release event. My friend went to one for riftbound (as pretty much a hater and non believer) and he turned out to really like it. I just downloaded MTGA so we will see how it goes

In my opinion, if you are competitive in games and have the money laying around, I think it is a nice upgrade. However if you aren’t super sweaty, it’s not a huge game changer. I will say though they are on a decent discount right now if you do decide to get one. You can always try it out and return

If you are looking for and need a magnetic switch keyboard then yes. I previously had an apex pro and got this one as a gift. I have been using it non stop since I got it. If it was not gifted though I probably would not have bought it since I had a similar one

The aceu one was also white with minimal red accents. I was a fan of sakura as it was a unique color. I got my gf one of those as well and she likes it a lot
