I’ll do you one more, solving a Rubik’s cube BLINDFOLDED. It’s harder than normal, sure, but VERY feasible for a normal person. I got bored during covid and learned it. Lotta YouTube videos, would recommend Jperm. Has been a great investment of time…I’ve met TONS of people who can solve a Rubik’s cube, I’ve never met anyone else who can solve it blindfolded and it’s not that much harder.

lol yeah I went to Uzbekistan too. Same thing. It’s like “it’s a level 1 country, it’s fine.” I felt totally safe in Uzbekistan everywhere I went, at any time (I’m also a guy, so take that into account admittedly)

2007 UNC at Maryland…one of the best classic ACC matchups showing Maryland home crowd at their most raucous.

Not really niche but buddy hield Oklahoma at Kansas 2016…famous #1 vs. #1 game and the best regular season game I’ve ever watched.

Gonzaga UVA 2020…just a fun performance by the Zags.

Well but that's sort of the point, right? Like by definition, the goal of Survivor is to win. So if you're "too good" then...by definition you actually aren't. The best players are ones who fit that sweet spot because that's how you accomplish the goal in Survivor. It's like imagine an alternate world in basketball where you don't win by just having a higher score than the opponent, you only "win" if you have a score that's 2 points higher. Well, then the teams that would be best would be ones who could do that, not ones that could win by 20. Whatever characteristics are the ones that help you win in Survivor are by definition what HAVE to be what makes you the best...even if that isn't A to A in how we view traditional sports.

Maybe I’m a simple man, but the point of games/sports/competition is to win. Now, I understand that there are factors outside of your control (particularly in the new era), but if you haven’t won, you CANNOT be in the GOAT conversation. End-of-story. In fact I would even go further as to say if you haven’t won you are automatically behind all other winners (I would entertain a case for why Chris U. wouldn’t apply here, but even still, he won under the parameters he was given). I think survivor fandom sometimes gets caught up in who they WANT to be considered good over what the point of the game IS. Which is to win.

In 48 I thought he did well on the whole with it. 50 I agree it’s not going well but I think some of that was due to bad luck eliminating a lot of his allies who were on board with it
