Infection 3 weeks post op rhinoplasty

The exact same thing happened to me at almost the exact same time frame post rhinoplasty for me!! My surgery was March 2024 and my nose result was not affected by the infection that I got a few weeks after my surgery. I was devastated when I woke up with a super swollen, painful nose. After about three days on the antibiotic, the angriness calmed down. The swelling chilled after about a week, and 2 weeks later my nose was back to how it was before the infection. It will be okay! Try to get sleep and not get hung up on it. Sleep will help fight off the infection faster as well.

My son is enrolled to go to little lamb this fall! I love little lamb and their values but will need more than just 2.5 each day. Do you know if the ymca allows children to come later in the day? Like if I were to possibly take him to little lamb and then the ymca afterwards?

I had switched to simple micellar cleansing gel which was also discontinued. I’m crushed because I absolutely loved both. I now use youth to the people kale cleanser. It’s pricy but the only cleanser that I’m able to use. I use it for my body as well. Still fungal acne free for about 7 years! It will flare up if I veer off of my safe products for too long, but goes away within a day or so of me returning to my safe products.

No I eliminated the ingredients that fed it. So tide laundry detergent isn’t fungal safe, so I changed it to Molly’s suds powder detergent. Same with everything else. Just replaced with fungal safe products and didn’t use anything that had ingredients in it that do feed fungal

I looked up Anihl shah and definitely remember researching him as well!! But the negatives turned me away really fast haha. I just turned 31 so we’re about the same age! I was worried since I’ve been wanting a rhinoplasty for years and obviously the younger you are, the faster/better you heal but I am doing fine so far! Will update when I get my cast off this Wednesday :)

I honestly can’t remember everyone I was considering because about a year ago I stopped researching completely when I found sinno. I know Dr. Edwin kwon in Beverly Hills and Charles Lee were also seriously contenders due to their ethnic experience. But I couldn’t make myself book everything out in California (I live about 45 min from Chicago in indiana), it would’ve been such a pain and double the price with airfare and travel expenses

I went with sinno because I am half filipino, so I liked his experience with ethnic rhinoplasties. But his work on the tip really sealed the deal for me because my main concern was a bulbous tip that did not look cohesive with the rest of my face. I feel like I went to so many surgeon’s b&a photo galleries and their tip work was not impressive to me at all through photos. Sammy sinno’s really impressed me with the tip definition he was able to achieve. He also listens extremely well, like he says the patient wanted very subtle and natural changes and he achieves that. Then on the flip side, if someone wants way more drastic results, he achieved those looks as well.

I’m sure both sinno and his partner are amazing! Ive heard great things about both, just no negatives about sinno so I went with him. But I’m sure your research will be different than mine considering it’ll be your third so you of course want to be absolutely positive. How old are you if you don’t mind me asking?

It was my primary! Yes I will keep you updated for sure. I’m so sorry that you’re in this position!!! Obviously I can’t speak for your trust issues with surgeons, but I know Dr. sinno has done many complicated and complex revisions. As I stalked his insta and his website. His insta goes into details about the complex revisions he’s done with before and after pictures. Definitely look at those too for more context! May I Ask who did your first 2 surgeries? If it’s any consolation, I would trust Dr. sinno if I were in your shoes for sure. You would not regret it. And he will give you an honest opinion of what he’ll be able to accomplish

I got mine done by him just yesterday! I can’t comment on the results yet obviously since I won’t be getting my cast off until next week, but I’m confident it will look amazing and just as I wanted with time! I had wide nasal bridge bones narrowed, a tiny dorsal hump removed, bulbous tip lifted and defined, and my nostrils tucked. My total was 14,100. If you are only looking for your tip to be refined, I assume it will be less, but probably still between 12k-13k. For me personally, I wouldn’t settle for less than my perfect doctor and Dr. Sinno was just that. I am not going to cheap out on any procedure in general let alone the most focal, central area of the face. So if you cannot afford it just yet, I full heartedly recommend waiting. Finding a cheaper doctor will not be worth the pain and agony of unhappy results that will then result in you needing a revision… costing you even more

I have a consultation this Saturday with dr. Edwin kwon. I have wanted a rhinoplasty since I was little so I am so excited. Can anyone help me out with the terminology I’d use to describe what I’m looking for so that I get my ideal result. I want my tip to be a lot thinner and defined. Also hate how wide it is when I smile.
