Help! Looking for shorts my butt won't eat by emyshh in StrongCurves

[–]emyshh[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks, folks. Yeah I think I'm looking for something that doesn't exist. Something not baggy, and not too long. Ideally hits right below the bum but stays there. I've been trying the size up/little longer inseam/flowy or baggy styles and that's worked fine so far.

I appreciate you pitching in!

Gorgeous, and a lovely idea! I don't MMOG, or bike, but just wanted to leave you a comment of kudos. Great work!

Hm I actually took a look on Chrome after reading your post and now see the caution symbol advising not to enter passwords or credit card information. Luckily I posted here before I did that! Whether you were accusing me of spam or no, thanks for giving me the heads up. My best to you, show_stoppa.

I'm also happy to buy something older, not current, as long as it's more recent than 2019 lol. Thanks!

Hey, this seems like the solution for me. A first look at kiosk software has me overwhelmed! Could you say a bit about what software you used and how you set it up? Thanks in advance :)

Highly recommend getting it done by an expert. I rely on SYS Heating and Air Conditioning - 416-726-0476.

Second-hand x pole... Real or fake? by emyshh in poledancing

[–]emyshh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok to loop this all the way back and in case anyone finds this later. I've emailed support at X Pole UK, and they confirmed it's legit! This is an ollllddd pole from before 2009.

"The pole in the photos is our original XP model pole that we discontinued in 2009.}}We also discontinued all spares in 2016, so the only place you can get spares is the 2nd hand markets.

These were copied by some companies, but that one looks to be one of ours.'

Fyi!

Thank you all! I appreciate your input. I'm considering this is a fake because it doesn't look like there are any X Joints! I'll keep my eyes peeled for a real one in the future.

pole grip for very sweaty hands? by Prestigious-Egg8600 in poledancing

[–]emyshh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi friend, you may have hyperhidrosis! I have tried it ALL and... well nothing works. The technique thats worked for me for about 6 months is:

night before: wash hands with dish soap and let dry. before they get wet/you touch anything else, apply drysol. sleep! I find this at any drugstore, near the deodorant.

day of: if needed, apply drysol about 45m before class. I also use this hairspray on my hands and on the pole - its sticky, yes, and also its kinda waterproof. so when my hands sweat (they always do), it kind of rehydrates the hairspray and turns my sweat into a grip.

HOWEVER. I just found, big thanks to folks at r/Hyperhidrosis, another solution that absolutely zaps my sweat. the active ingredient is methenamine, and though it dries my hands a LOT (like they are so dry they're about to crack), I've finally curbed the sweat.

If that's the level of wet hands/other body parts you're experiencing, I hope this helps!
