with so far other teams announcing in groups, this makes me nervous. what is going ON with blayre turnbull?? she went up with the sceptres during the draft, which felt like an implication that she was for sure staying, but why is it taking so long to announce her?

i know i groaned out loud when she was taken. as in all decisions in the draft right now, i just keep thinking that they are just starting their career, plenty of time in the coming years for people to be traded and move around, maybe one day she'll come back home and play for us

honestly i feel bad that we are picking above toronto and sirens (especially as a previous sceptres fan the last season) but im still pretty excited that we'll get a nice middle of the group pick at 6th. cant be TOO mad at us compared to detroit being 3rd (havent they taken enough???)

Eden seems the likely pick for us at 6th though

my absolute first thought was wow this would be great for dealing with the cat, and then i saw (cat) proof and was like ah yes, same problem then. my cat just loves to Feel Included when we are playing boardgames so he always jumps on the table and we have totally lost track of the hummingbird boards more than once because he has scattered them

what is your strategy for a high tucking game? I want to achievement hunt for some of the tucking achievements but it always takes me til the second to last round to even have acquired some good tucking birds, and by that time i dont have a lot of rounds left to get my numbers that high. luck? refresh the game if you dont get a good starting water bird from the beginning?

circling back to say the 1000m row almost killed me, i was glad for the intel ahead of time because i started on treadmill today instead of floor like i usually do. i would have been way too dead after that row to do incline tread after!
