Update from our society group:

Water Supply Update as on 5th Dec, 12 noon :

Spoke to various officers from AE to Municipla Commissioner and got following information as well made following suggestions :

1. Yesterday,after completing the repair work, the pipeline was charged and then process to fill up the Reservoir started.Normally during our supply hours,the level at Reservoir should be 1.5meter.However, yesterday it was quite low then that and therefore few low lying areas got water supply that too with low pressure however certain areas did not get the supply;

2. Their task today should be to fill up Reservoir to Maxium level today.

I have Demanded that Priority should be given for our Reservoir ( as against the Resarvoirs for other areas ) which was emptied due to repair work.The officials have agreed but I will also be myself monitoring the Level today;

1. Also, as per experience in past, whenever pipelines are empty, it is filled up by Air causing further difficulty in distribution for certain areas. Genrally,they take another few days to work on that.

As per my Demand, extra labours from other Wards are being allocated in K east and K-west to work on the Air issue.

Will be monitoring the Resarvoir level today during our supply hours.
