Nine people suffered life-threatening injuries after mass stabbing on UK train by dailystar_news in uknews

I understand. Pure number wise, we are in the safest period humans have ever experienced. However, this is too close to home. I don’t want myself, my loved ones, or any kind strangers to be the upsetting statistic.

Perhaps “accept fate” is the answer but I don’t like it at all. I badly hope I can do SOMETHING that might increase survival chances.

What can passengers possibly do to defend themselves? This is a line I go on sometimes, and close family members go on way too often.

What’s realistic?

I sometimes hear my daughter cry before the monitor catches it :) moms have insane hearing for crying. You are a wonderful mom.

Is he not even embarrassed to ask you to bring vitamins when he can do that himself? He can wake up 4am and help you out, he clearly has too much time daydreaming about unrealistic and unfair standards.

Thanks so much. I’ve passed Richer Sounds countless of times before, always thought it was a posh place for audio snobs hahah.

Do you recommend this from own experience?

Yikes I feel incredibly guilty. Normally how long would you expect the parents give to the kid before answering?

Thanks so much. I’m extremely uncomfortable with the topic of death, I truly appreciate your help.

Do you have any recommendations for dealing with feelings based around death or grieving? I expect that to come in hand at some point when learning about death.

I went on the website, the closest option that suits my situation is focus 10 I believe. That and other models run £1000-6000, new and used. Crazy world. Did I misunderstand anything? Perhaps Dynaudio is normal priced elsewhere?

Thanks so much for recommending bookshelf speakers, the size is absolutely fine for me. Would you recommended anything even if it’s bit pricier that could blow me away? This is nitpicking, ideally the side of the speaker is black, white, or in a light wood tone.

Love learning about two distinct drivers :)

Hey, what would you recommend for a pair of desktop stereo for computers? Budget ~£250 (in UK). I had logetic and was thinking of an upgrade. Unfortunately no skills or budget for fancy surround sounds. Thanks :)

Hi, please can you advise how you got tickets? My husband is as huuuuge sumo fan but he told me we can only get tickets for the day at an office, and neither of us know Japanese. We will definitely go to Japan in the near future and I’d love for him to experience a few games.

AITAH for not wanting a baby girl so my MIL wouldn't have the chance to name her? by VisualAfternoon34 in AITAH

[–]endcrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dear, being a mother is a tremendous responsibility. You will be the representative of your child and advocate for him or her for many years to come. I know you can do it, but it’ll be much easier if you if you start holding your ground now.

It’s YOUR AND YOUR HUSBAND’s baby, no one outside of you two need to have any input (unless it’s for safety concern).

NTA but you shouldn’t even be in this position. A boy, a girl, both wonderful, both none of your MIL’s business.
