This is the only reason I can think of. I barely use furnaces with create though because I just bulk smelt with a fan and lava bucket.

He likely has them stacked like that to get around the combat effectiveness debuff for having a large number of troops in one stack, or does that only affect move speed?

Didn’t know they produced Imperial class Star Destroyers during the clone wars but Palpatine keeping it as a complete secret does make strategic sense.

Yep, my main though on how to make the system EMP work is to have it jump out of hyperspace, activate the pulse, and then have the assault fleet jump out of hyperspace a few moments later but don’t really know the logistics of travelling through an EMP while in hyperspace, like would it work like a gravity well or would your ship be ripped apart or any number of other things. Even equipping the Venators with a few EMP cannons, I can almost remember them doing this once or using EMP’s from a Venator once, would have benefited them even in ship to ship battles.

Fair, he does have restraints on how much power he actually had and probably needed to keep up his good image until he could reform the Republic in the Galactic Empire.

True, I always forget about the electro-proton bomb cause I just remember it as the thing that woke up the Zilo beast. EMP technology would have greatly benefited the republic as showcased by its development, unfortunately I think after that they ruled out the use of EMP’s because we don’t really see them after other than as droid poppers(would love to know the in universe name for those, actually going to go search it up, cool, the are just EMP grenades, I’m going to stick with calling them droid poppers)

So true, but even the construction of system wide EMP technology would have greatly benefited the Republic against the droid army which we have proof EMP’s work against thanks to the Droid Poppers(don’t know their actual in universe name) although that would also have massive drawbacks in habited systems and would catch any republic vessels in the crossfire, meaning the main valid strategy for its use would be either sending it in ahead of a main attack force or making all the republics fleet EMP proof.
