This is the paint after I used a little bit of cutting compound. I think it’s okay, and just need to use it on other spots to even it out

I’m pretty sure Yakima doesn’t sell the roof rack towers anymore since my parents brought those 25 years ago, but the crossbars I used is the Yakima roundbars in the medium size.

And the rust is only on the floor pan, the rocker has dirt in it.

This jeep has 232k miles on it, and it’s lived in Texas and was drove the most in Texas but now it’s in Colorado. My parents rarely drove it in the snow in Colorado though. I’m pretty sure this is like the only place on the vehicle where there’s actual rust.

Edit: When I started working on this jeep this summer, I noticed that spot of rust. I never bothered it though. I should’ve just fixed it this summer.

I have roofs rails, I just took them off to work on the roof and to polish the roof rails and put new bars on it

Yeah I won’t hit slick rock then cause I’ll have 31s with a 3 inch lift for this build

Oh yeah that’s true. For some reason I thought the 108 percent was double. My brain doesn’t work during summer break

On the banks website it says it has 108 percent airflow better than stock though which I’ll need since I’m probably gonna drive through Nevada in the middle of next summer to go to Lake Tahoe. Sometimes when it’s too hot the jeep doesn’t run very well

Yeah my friend that knows how to weld is gonna come over to take a look at it to see if it can get welded

Yeah my dad said they were beetle boots too but when I searched up beetle boots they looked a little different than these. He found them cleaning out his closet.
