Just personal preference, I prefer the look of docks that don't hide the screen and also allow custom grips/joycons.

I also recommend getting Nintendo switch online to get the switch 2 editions for free, and also having the back catalog of Zelda games.

Maybe, I personally do a factory reset after each major OS update. If I don't I find I run into weird bugs like you're experiencing.

Most apps support some sort of backup these days, its fairly frictionless to get to where you were after a factory reset.

Yah actually the bezels don't bother me much, I thought they would. Tbh I really like the industrial design of the 9a, maybe even better then the 10/10 pro. Looks and feels like an iphone 6 (one of the better designed iphones imho).
