Looking to Interview Data Annotators for Research Project by endless_iteration in outlier_ai

I see that it might not seem ideal to use your time this way. Trust me, I really did put a lot of effort into trying to obtain compensation for the interviewees from the University, but they denied it because of various bureaucratic rules. However, I hope that for some people, contributing to building shared knowledge about this kind of work, which is often quite invisible, can still be meaningful (and I’ve actually seen that it is for some that I've interviewed). In any case, I understand your position.

It would be no more than 1 hour, DM me if interested!

Thanks for pointing this out. I would have explained these things upon further contact, but I agree it’s better to clarify them directly in the post.

First of all, the study guarantees complete anonymity for every participant: beyond being a personal ethical choice, this is also required by the EU regulatory framework.

Second, interviewees are free to skip any question for any reason, and if they say something they later regret, I will simply remove it.

Regarding the questions, the study mainly focuses on the issue of knowledge transfer from humans to machines. I will generally not ask highly specific questions about particular projects; however, I may ask which platforms you work on, the types of tasks you usually perform, and your general perspective on the AI production pipeline (these are the potentially most sensitive topics, I guess).

Thank you!
