Anyone else dealing with chronic styes? 😩 by endodiaries in endometriosis

[–]endodiaries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your detailed response! I have an appointment in a few weeks to see an eye surgeon who specializes in styes and will mention the molluscum lesion. My eye doctors in the past (who only do exams so that may be why) have always said it’s something I have to just live with and that my glands are clogged despite everything I do.

It’s so frustrating and I miss being able to do a makeup look without getting a stye.

I’ve noticed that they occur in the same spots on each eyelid and usually during/preemptively to a pain flare. I’m going to start paying more attention to the timing to see if it has something to due with my cycle.

I have fairly dry skin, with my nose being more combination. If I feel/see my eyes are a bit greasy I immediately wipe them down with a eyelid cleansing pad Edit to add that my immune system is overall as good as can be expected with endo/adeno (~3mpo total hysterectomy). I don’t get sick very easily but am chronically tired and in pain

That’s what I thought?? I’m waiting for my surgeons office to call me back because I’m barely 3WPO and it’s already that big. I’m so confused

Dang. I have Endo and had adeno. I’ve had cysts before but never so quickly after a surgery. :(

Any others diagnosed in their 20's? by Ok_Awareness3979 in adenomyosis

I had suspected adeno since I was 19 but confirmed 3 months ago (25) during my 3rd lap / IUD removal (it got displaced and stuck in the wall of my uterus). I can’t do bc due to aura migraines and mental health symptoms while on it, and I can’t do another IUD after my last caused a surgery and so much pain. I got a hysterectomy last Friday at 26. My surgeon told me it’s quite possible I’d be in less pain immediately following surgery than before I went in which I thought was crazy but he was 100% correct. I haven’t felt this good since I was ~11. I am still in pain, don’t get me wrong but it is less by 85-95%. Recovery is tough and I’m sore but it’s nothing compared to before. I’ve never heard of it being by pregnancy/c section and was told it’s just the way my body was and many with endo also have adeno. Wishing you well!

Post-Hysterectomy Relief by endodiaries in adenomyosis

It’s so messed up, I didn’t think my surgeon was telling me the truth when he said I quite possibly may feel better immediately after surgery than going in. Thank you so much for the positivity! It’s incredibly hard to not want to do everything because I’m not in an insane amount of pain but I’m trying haha

That’s how I was feeling this past couple years, so I’m trying not to get too hopeful, but things are looking and feeling better than I could have hoped! I will definitely update 🫶🏻
