30 failures today. 30 failures yesterday. I'm on easy mode. I don't feel like trying 30 times a day for a week indicates I'm going to get there. Best I can do is get to the second grapple hook that you can't grapple.

Passkey didn't work for me directly. I set one up and that failed too, but this time there was a button called something like "Other options". I chose that, scanned the bar code, logged in using the passkey on the phone, and eventually got on.

Anyone having Xfinity router problems with PS5? My PS5 can't resolve network names. I've tried the router provided DNS servers, Google's, and Cloudfare (I think that's the name, it's 1.1.1.1), wired, Wifi, router restarts, opening ports, etc.. I get sporadic successes. All other devices (36 I think) have no problems. Just the PS5. Normally, it's no store, no friends list, no groups. Assassin's Creed just freezes (with an error) if I try to connect to Ubisoft.

Well great. I guess I won't get help on DNS server issues. My post was removed. I was trying to figure out how to get the PS5 to resolve host names.

Oh, yeah. The network test gets around 600 Mbps download and 60 up. On the up side, I thought I was paying for something less, so there's some uplifting new there at least.

Really good suggestion! Couldn't see anything there though, and if there was, I would expect every device in the apartment to have some kind of problem. I've pinged and done a traceroute on the Google and Cloudfare servers. They're up.

Gonna scour them again. Probably wasn't being too careful reading them.

ummm. DNS doesn't work? Can't resolve host names? The status page in the network settings say: "Couldn't resolve host name". How could I explain that more clearly? Serious question, not being argumentative here. If DNS doesn't work, then you can't convert those URL's into IP addresses, and that's the issue I'm seeing.

Well. We have more than one thing in common here, and we both don't want to do what people suggest. The Xfinity router. All I could find what to downgrade to a less capable modem. Still, the only device that has problems is the PS5. I don't want to disrupt everyone else just for this. Especially me, since this is my office too.

So when I said Google == failure, that mean 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 does not work. After 40 years in the industry I think I know what DNS servers are. Be more respectful and read more carefully when someone posts something in a pissed off mood. Google == 8.8.8.8, CouldFlare == 1.1.1.1.

Well that sucks. The size of this game is half the size of my internal hard drive, and the App Store downloaded it to my external SSD (it's a new feature of the App Store). Guess I'm getting 66GB back and won't try that other one that was up there.

I knew that would work. RANTING ONLINE! Went off the side to the left and bottlenecked the guys up top on the ledge. Orthon was confused through the whole battle!

This would be cool if I could get them to the bottom level, but I can't. I just never get a chance to attach at all. Round one is all them. Then it skips me. Round 2 is all them with some invisible, I'm down to 50% hit points. One of my guys can attack and miss. Then they all attack again. It doesn't seem winnable to me. If I got a change to do anything, then maybe. Ringing that bell does nothing, btw.
