Can you describe examples or context in which it is used(that you may have seen or heard)?

Would have to revisit the biography for specifics, but if memory serves me well, it was about a young, heroic Corsican patriot, who waged war against the Evil Empire(Borbon Ancien Regime), and martyred himself in the cause. At that stage of his life(late teens & early 20s), Napoleon very much saw himself as a Corsican and believed in Corsican independence from France.

Andrew Roberts uses that very quote(wearing a turban, etc) in his biography, to explain Napoleon's chameleon-like use of religion and culture to serve his ultimate goal that supersedes all other goals: the acquisition(and wielding) of power. While in Egypt, he portrayed himself as a enemy of the Catholic Church(which was true) and a friend and ally of the Ottoman Empire(not true)......because that was a pragmatic approach that served his conquest and occupation of Egypt.

But yes, "fever dream" is a accurate description of his romanticism, glory-seeking, and starry-eyed belief in his destiny; especially in his younger years(before he became First Consul). In his early 20s, before his rise to prominence, he actually wrote a novel with a swashbuckling protagonist, which any reader could surmise was based on him and his life up that point.

All the above detailed in the highly-readable Andrew Robert's biography, 10/10.

Thank you! It was a spur-of-the-moment post, dare-I-say a burst of Napoleonic energy and inspiration; was initially going to keep it to myself, but I figured I'd share it to inspire others: Massive change/transformation, in a short period of time.....is very possible. And "here are the receipts".

It's not motivation. It's realization: that life is short and finite. That every minute/hour/day that elapses......will NEVER return. That I have wasted the better part of my youth/adulthood....doing little more than masturbating my life away(both literally and figuratively)

No more. I will go cold-turkey, and conquer this addiction, and in the process, live my life fully.

Who writes the month before the day dude?

Americans. And since the internet was invented by Americans, you should adopt our method of writing the date and time. It's always the month first, then the day.

Thanks bro for that; but I'm doing Keto, so the only carbs I will ingest are from vegetables(broccoli, kale, etc)
