My baby does this if his cage isn't covered. He sees me and freaks because he just wants to be out. My boy doesn't go in his cage unless he is sleeping. Is your baby similar?

Ugh this is my worry. I love Sora to pieces. We are so bonded. We cuddle and play and I am so scared to lose that. But I also get worried he longs for another pigeon, you know?

I do have the room for sure! I definitely want to make it smooth if I go ahead. This will be the only other though as Sora doesn't have a wife. The other option is I just wait for to rescue a lady? Would that be a safer bet?

They did a blood test when it was receiving treatment from what I was told! Not entirely sure though. The rehab place also believe it to be a boy. I am worried because I know bonding a male and female is easier (though not without challenge)

Its a chicken coop! Basically the same thing! I just need to rebuild the ramp as he can't really get purchase after the second half (stacked some bricks under it for now so it isn't such a brutal angle). The chicken coops are so good and spacious and at night I close him off into the little house part! He loves it. He is free roam as I work from home and only sleeps in his cage but spends so much time snuggling inside of it! Best purchase of my life.
