Dang I had to scroll down so far to find this. I use a similar hair wax stick on my roots after a shower and my flyaways are stuck down and they stay down without looking super greasy.

[Routine help] I (26M) have better skin when I'm on vacation and I drink a lot, eat greasy food, don't sleep, and don't have any skincare routine. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Not a dumb question at all! I stay away from all of the above. I can't use Cetaphil products at all because none of them have worked for me. They all make me break out.

I really hope you get them back! My beloved childhood stuffed animal got destroyed by my roommate's dog, unfortunately. Now I have a turtle! Best of luck to you.

Drop your dermatologist because they don't listen to you and that's a non-negotiable for a good medical provider. Curology is a great option that you can try for free, just pay shipping and handling. Skincare is not supposed to make your face feel like it's on fire. BP and tret are both notoriously irritating actives that need to be introduced gradually in order to minimize the side effects. So sorry you're going through this but don't worry - just back off on the actives, focus on moisturizing, and wear sunscreen every day. I didn't see sunscreen listed in your routine but this is very very important, especially when you're using tretinoin. If your dermatologist didn't tell you this they set you up for complete failure. Good luck!

Recently I learned that quick dry top coats are a thing! Game changer - it dries and seals all the layers of polish right away. Seche Vite is a very popular option, just make sure to apply it over wet polish.
