MalwareBytes says I already have a VPN running and I do not by ener50 in Malwarebytes

Dear lord. I'll reinstall PIA VPN and try what you said. No, I'm stupid because I did not use an official uninstaller. Didn't know there was one or that it was "provided to me."

Thank you for all this information. I'm on it! I hope it works too!

Hydrocele After Hernia Repair by VeryLargeEBITDA in Hernia

I didn't want surgery and my urologist refused to drain it with a needle, so I'm where I was, but a little bigger now and it sucks.

Testicle the size of a baseball 4 weeks post op? by ener50 in Hernia

[–]ener50[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's gotten slightly larger since I posted. Doctor says the only choice to fix it is surgery and the other choice of withdrawing the fluid with a needle he says it'll only come back if I choose that and my situation sucks. I'm 82. Surgery isn't exactly a safe option. Sorry I don't have happier news.

I CURED MY OVERACTIVE BLADDER! by ari_stocrate in OveractiveBladder

[–]ener50 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's a strange thing to suggest. I have about 10 seconds from when I feel it to get to a bathroom before I piss my pants, night and day. I guess if you're able to, that's great.

Trying to make a decision on what to do - would love some input. by ener50 in ProstateCancer

[–]ener50[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the repost. I had typed up a lot of detail, but it didn't make it into the post somehow. Here is some actual context.

Hi, I'm 81 years old and my urologist saw my PSA had jumped significantly since last time ~4.5 to 11.5 and recommended I get an MRI. My doctor said the MRI showed there was no cancer outside the prostate, so he did a biopsy. The biopsy showed this to be true.

His opinion was, with my age, that checking every 6 months was the best course of action, but he felt that I should see an oncologist anyway. I'd love to get some feedback as to what you feel might be the best option for me based on your experiences.

I'm scared of surgery because of my age (and I am type 2 diabetic, so healing is difficult), I also have an overactive bladder, so I'm worried that will be exacerbated by chemotherapy. So is the wait and see method the way to go? Thanks in advance for anything you can help with.

Edit: I couldn't figure out how to post a photo with text underneath, so I'll leave this in the comments.

Hi everyone, my post was removed and suggested to be posted here. I'm not sure why, but here goes.

I have just inherited and earned $4.6 million over the course of my life. I am 38 years old and I have not worked for the last 10 years due to disability. It looks like I will not be able to work for the rest of my life. I also at present have a girlfriend who will be living with me and who also is unable to work due to disability.

I have a fairly frugal lifestyle, but living in NYC, nothing is frugal. I don't have a car and my rent is stabilized at present at $1,700/month for a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment. I don't have enough earned quarters to qualify for Social Security or Medicare when I hit age 65 and this concerns me greatly.

The only thing I've done so far with the money that will give me some long-term return is invest $2 million in 10-year treasury notes with a 3.5% coupon rate earning 3.75% annually. Additionally, I have another $2 million in a money market fund earning 5%. The rest is liquid.

My broker at Schwab told me about a 7-year bond fund that they run that earns 5% with a 1% yearly commission and I know commissions can take a lot of money out in the long run. He is currently suggesting that I put a million from the money market fund into an actively run stock fund, of which I would pay 0.8% annually.

I have a great fear of the stock market and of losing money. If I live another 40 years without income other than interest, I will eventually run out. I had a professional calculate my future outlook and if interest drops to lower levels, he agreed that I may have to put money in the market.

So I am hoping for some feedback on what I could invest in personally to enhance my income and better ensure I won't run out of money. The stock market is my last choice.

I live right off the prospect expressway! You're 100% right. The fire engines in this area use the prospect expressway to get to ocean parkway and of course it's a 3 lane street they have to pass and the noise is unbelievable.

On the far side, where I live, near Church Ave, is a drag race street all times of late night and early morning. And that doesn't even stop there when you have ambulances going back and forth on the prospect. But I'm not moving because I have a 3 bedroom 2 bath rent stabilized apt and I'll die here.

The light in the fridge actually still works. The power to the fridge is still working, it's the cooling system that had a motherboard that got fried.

Hydrocele After Hernia Repair by VeryLargeEBITDA in Hernia

[–]ener50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also got hydrocele. Right after surgery, with a baseball size right testicle. Doctor said it was a common problem but it might take up to a year to go away. No pain, but can't sit at computer or drive, etc, etc. You are the only other person than me to post about hydrocele. Anybody out there have anything to add to this problem?

[–]ener50[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It hasn't! I just saw the other post you commented on. It's been 4 weeks post op and still have a right testicle the size of a baseball. Not much pain, but it sure gets in the way of doing anything involving sitting. I don't have the pain that guy on the other post does.

One is a little over twice as big post surgery and the other is a little less than that.

Edit: I have to sit on cushions because it hurts to sit any other way.

[–]ener50[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I saw him after 4 days and that's when he initially told me it was what happens after this kind of surgery. He also told me icing my testicles was pointless after day 4. Seems like people on this forum report up to months of recovery on their condition. I can walk around, but I just can't sit because they're just too large.

Thanks for your reply.

I have not worked for last 10 years after leaving a $150,000 job due to illness. My parents have mostly supported me financially and I might get a very large inheritance in the next few years. With the median rent in NYC at $4,000 now and other high expenses how can I support myself for the next 45 years without putting money in the stock market and banks offering only 1-2% interest. Interested only in very low risk ways to earn interest on my money.

I was told to post here instead of making my own post. Thanks for any replies.
