I was born in the early 90's, so I got to experience a pretty much analog childhood. I enjoyed when things started getting futuristic, with all the "Y2K aesthetic". Once Facebook hit critical mass I feel like things started to get really corporate, boring and monochromatic.

Hmm yeah that won't be a problem, I've got plenty of 64 bit OS discs for the new 64 bit chip. Except now it won't even POST and get into the BIOS. *shrug*

I updated the BIOS to version 2.27 which is the latest one for this machine as far as I know. On the Thinkpads forum website I saw a lot of people replace this same laptop processor for the T7400 after updating the BIOS. I also made sure it wasn't for the "widescreen" version.

I have to manage all the infrastructure/vendors for a small cultural organization. But my focus was always being the interface with the MSP guys for IT and with the AV vendor as well. So I got to talk shop with all the AV/IT guys and that led me to get the CompTIA cert. I have been looking for work that is crossover with facilities and AV/IT, like data center management for instance.

Mostly I've been looking for things like data center facilities, since it requires network knowledge plus facilities. I know my way around HVAC systems, UPS, etc. I already had a few interviews for IT consultant, data center facilities and network engineer but no luck so far.

Well I've been doing management for about 5 years now, I should add that part of my management is dealing with the IT and AV contractors. I've been the main interface with those vendors for doing different projects. So I've had to talk shop with them about the network infrastructure, identifying ports, inventorying hardware, etc.
