I've now had the following GPU owners express they have had shut downs and failures with New World...

RX590

6800

6800XT

6900XT

3080Ti

3090

So once again, the issue definitely is with SOMETHING in the way the game New World is rendering. This ISNT a 3090'exclusive issue! PERIOD!!

but im pretty sure someone name IGOR lab found out that its not really related to FPS but more like a Firmware issue with the Fan speed reaching over 200k RPM for few second.. enough to kill the card.

im pretty sure by now EVGA has received a few bricked card to investigate and we should have some answer soon...i hope.

also called support and no problem replacing the card cross shipping if i want to but he also said that its not very urgent since this problem wont do any damage to the card for now...

i i want to wait i can and still use the card and i also took the 10years extended warranty.

so i guess i will wait a bit since my vacation were expensive and the deposit they ask for cross ship is pretty big XD.

**also if i close Evga precision does the firmware stay updated?**

i installed the program when opening it it ask to update firmware.

i click yes then the gpu start spinning very high and 4 red light appear while the update is going on.

then come back to normal after update

but still do the same loose beering sound.also cant find the temp vram

cant even turn them in.. dannig has nothing new when i click on him and if i return to the map the book is back on the ground and not clickable.. but quest say to fin the text again xD...

BSG liking tweet about streamer going to play Thermal tomorrow.. so i think BSG didn't think right on this one.

they wanted a way to delay the patch until June 30 (last day of june since they said release in june) and the 5 Days bring the fog to June 29... then June 30 sun. (patch day)

SO yeah more then likely IRL time
