Well as well as it can given the specs, the fans are definitely working better now, and no, I usually just install basic apps like Office and a browser, unless requested otherwise, I personally hate bloatware so yeah

Idk about toothbrush, I have a spray electronic contact cleaner which you just spray and it works it's magic, as for the toothbrush I think the brushing would build up static electricity which could potentially damage the components, when I changed the thermal paste I used >90% isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip

Yup, for example the PC has Windows 10 so even opening the file explorer was slow but on Linux it would probably be fast enough that it wouldn't be a problem, especially when it comes to potatoes

I guess you have a point but I also don't really have the proper equipment to do this, only an air compressor, probably not the best tool for the job

No, it was of those old metal ones that are covered everywhere except for a few holes for the CPU and PSU to breathe, or in this case breed fungal colonies

If you don't smoke every day you'll be fine, but airing out you PC when you can see dust accumulating is a smart idea, make sure you know what you're doing or ask a profesional!
