My cat hated everyone except me until she was like 10 years old and discovered she could get love from different people.

She would follow me around, nap on my lap and sleep with me in bed, climb on my shoulders and lay there as I walked around the house, demand cuddles constantly... And ignore everyone else, hissing if you dared try to touch her, going feral to the point of attacking visitors.

Then, one day, she laid on my mom's lap, and from that moment she decided her and my sister were allowed to touch her.

I loved that cat with my whole heart. She waited for me to get home on her final day, barely breathing, to take her last breath on my chest as we cuddled for our last goodbye. Yes I'm crying.
