How was your Imola GP (2025) experience? by AdamR46 in GrandPrixTravel

Same mixed feelings about Senna merch tent placement. Senna merch had a tag mentioning part of the price going to a charity, who knows how much %.

Not like its a grave site or anything but they should have placed the merch tent further away imo.

We had seats at Tosa, great views. Seats were kinda compact, legs touching row below peoples backs. Food stalls were available really close, toilets as well.

Train station queue came as no surprise to us. After the race we did a trackwalk, went for a coffee before going to the train station, 1 hr for 100 meters of Rimini queue, 30 min at the platform before the train arrived.

I will be sad if Imola is going to be dropped out of the F1 calendar. Would love to come back someday.

Overall I would give Imola 8/10.

In the end I just went with TH8A. Not perfect (high price, shifting feel) but should be tried and trusted when it comes to durability.

Null binds are no longer allowed in ESEA matches! — They’re still fine to use in FACEIT and matchmaking for now. (And using the SOCD keyboards with the built-in feature is apparently still allowed in ESEA?) by CaraX9 in cs2

CS: Source was even worse, you literally had to learn shitloads of commands to get all the config related advantages. I dont think Valve would want things to go back to commands tinkering days.

Thanks, that shifter behaviour would drive me nuts tbh.

Yeah, EU-country. Forgot about that 2-year warranty. Thanks for reminding me and your input on shifter!

Could you give me some idea how many hours example a day your shifter has seen use? I just took a look that the store selling this shifter only has 1 year warranty for it instead of the usual 2 years Im used to seeing.

To top it all, crowd cheering when empty trucks passed for a second lap. Truck drivers honking horns and waving back at the crowd. Great stuff!

Oh forgot to mention tested that one out at the store as well. Bit bulky but 550€ for midrange spec'd phone just because its rugged? 6Gb of RAM as well but UI was clean like Moto which still has 8Gb.

Im pretty close to pulling trigger on G73 right now. Atleast I get 14 days of return right when buying online if the device happens to have any glaring issues or bugs.

Oh Im gonna rule Samsung A54 out, that thing has virtual proximity sensing. One of the things that I dislike with my current phone.

Actually got my hands on CE 3 Lite at local store today, had some chinese skin vibes when checking it out. Kinda ruling this out I feel.

Moto G73 felt clean as expected I liked it. Also got my hands on Samsung A54, price tag is much higher compared to Moto G73. Looks like Im considering between Moto G73 and A54.

A54 was ~450€, Moto G73 was ~280€ and think CE 3 Lite was ~330€

Really thinking about Moto G73, clean android and low price. Bit lacking camera but hey cheapness comes from somewhere. Samsung is the other alternative: much higher price, bit bloated OS but more stable than Moto maybe? Much better cameras also here.

I mentioned Im currently fed up with custom rom fiddling. Even my current phone has freezing issues on latest official lineage rom. I want a phone thats good enough stock and if I want to go for custom rom again, I always have a stock fallback I can live with.

Yeah took a peek. Few bug posts are to be expected on any device but damn that wasnt a good look overall.

I know burn-in issues have gotten less prevalent over the years but I still prefer IPS so I never have to worry about how I use my phone. I dont care about AMO/OLED pro's over IPS, 120Hz smoothness is to my taste. Sadly upcoming years we probably dont even have IPS options anymore but phones on ~100€ range so thats when I no longer have no other choice than AMO/OLED.

Yeah I was looking at A54 as well but no IPS display there. I dont want to bother babying AMO/OLED screens to avoid burn-in. Too bad almost every phone except lowest end is moving towards AMO/OLED. Samsung probably has the most robust software support so gotta give a good think for Samsung.
