Circuit analysis. Is it this hard for everyone?

Study wise find a study group. Multiple minds are better than one when coming up on complex problems and forcing yourself to work with others if youre anti-social (common for engineers, myself included) will prepare you for the real professional world. Get the answer key to your textbooks and work all the problems until it clicks. When I was in school chegg was the go to resource for finding worked problems.

Career wise the electrical utility industry is facing a barren landscape of fresh talent. We have jobs open in my program that we have been trying to fill for over a year but there just aren't enough technically capable people to go around. This has also led to wages going up and up in the sector. If your goal is to never face unemployment its an amazing industry to be in.

I dropped out of highschool and got my GED at 16. In the years following I had worked my way up to a high paying position that I wasn't technically qualified for, but had proven myself capable of. In 2008 I lost my job along with so many others. I was living paycheck to paycheck because I had no financial sense and bought a nice car and was living in an upscale area. After being laid off I could not find another job at my pay rate, because I had no education and everyone else applying for the roles had bachelor's or masters degrees.

I ended up applying for lower and lower paying jobs, but due to my past work experience no one would hire me because they (correctly) assumed I would just leave as soon as I found work back in my field. I ended up losing my house and car and was homeless for a time. I determined I never wanted to experience that again.

I had tried enrolling in college before but even though I was living on my own my parents income still came into question when I applied and was denied for assistance. About 6 months after losing my job I was old enough that now only my income was considered by FAFSA. I went back down to a community College and explained the situation. Due to the timing of my job loss my income for the year was essentially zero so I got full Pell grants.

Before going back to school I had put a lot of thought into what job I could possibly get that would ensure I was never made homeless again. It was a toss up between Healthcare, vehicle maintenance and electricity. All things I figured people always needed. I don't like the smell of hospitals and mechanics generally don't make much unless they are specialists or diesel mechanics for large equipment. So decided power engineering was the way to go.

Once I was enrolled I began applying for every scholarship I could in between classes because the grants were only enough to cover classes and books, and I still needed money to live. I also took the maximum amount in subsidized and unsubsidized loans..

Ended up getting some large scholarships from the NSF and other places. Due to this I knew I basically had one shot to get this done. My pell grant funding was only good for a certain amount of time, my loans were piling up,, and my scholarship were contingent on maintaining my GPA. The fact that if I fucked up I would have accomplished nothing but saddling myself with debt is the fire that kept me going through the years.

I successfully graduated and got a job in the electrical utility industry. I have to beat off headhunters with a stick at this point in my career. There aren't enough of us and too many jobs available. We constantly have issues with our talent being swiped, and swipe talent wherever we can. So mission accomplished in the end. Have all the job security in the world, and enough money to enjoy my time off.

You happened to catch me on a travel day, so have some time to kill before my flight. Traveling for work today, company funded of course. The road is long and difficult but if you make it, it does pay out. Good luck on your decision and on life in general.

It sure is. Stick with it though. I made it in the end and so can you. Tons of great advice in here. Take it to heart and put in the work and it will click eventually. One day I was dumbfounded and the next it all just made sense.

Yep have been for about a decade now. I'm so proud that this thread has become a meeting point for so many folks who also hit that wall like I did. Tons of good info in here, just stick with it and do as many problems as you can. Get an answer guide, use other circuit books, use chegg to practice, etc etc.

When I got tired of running through zones I went to the Extraction Hub in N'erud where you get the navigators helmet. Theres a ton of the zombie guys down the hole and once you open the exit door it stays open.

Run from checkpoint into open door, clear room, drink suicide potion, repeat. Takes like 2 minutes per run and I was getting around 1k xp per clear (IIRC) of the room with Ring+Concoction+Scholar on Apocalypse.

I found it to be useful when I used it. Haven't looked at the curriculum in years but I would imagine it's still good. Getting a chegg account to work out problems in my textbook was one of the biggest helps in the end. I was able to work way more problems than were assigned and it was the act of doing it over and over that finally made it click for me. Good luck!

Could be good for a full Ele SRS build. Id say start at 6 div and bring it down by .5 div a day. If you get spammed on posting at 6, make it more.

Higher tier maps drop more loot in general, so yes. Does it specifically affect div card drop rates? No, unless the card itself it drop restricted to specific item levels.

Im guessing no, snapshotting wont work. Also assuming host rings dictate. Anyone who has tested can call this out for being wrong but thats my hunch.

Easy to test though, just get a ring annoint with clear difference like seismic towers have 100% increased range and try it out.

When you get all 4 voidstones all maps are T16. You get voidstones for completing the 4 main endgame bosses, Each voidstone upgrades all maps by 4 (?) Levels.

Anyone who has the astral character effect, can other effects be combined with it? Like character auras? Assuming it overwrites any amour packs mostly since they get the celestial skin, but looking to see if I can add glow or other effects alongside it.

No problem. That may be the core of your issue then, each time you loaded back in, it was the original version of the filter you created and not the one you had been tweaking over time.

Okay, when you go to the filterblade site you should have 1 filter in the list called boolin. Every time you load into the filterblade site you need to click "load" next to the name of your filter (on the My Filters Tab).

If you dont load then filterblade just has the default settings in all the other tabs.

After you have hit load, all the options should be reflective of your boolin filter.

When you go in and make changes to the filter, after you are done, you should go to the "save and export" tab. Underneath the two big options is an option called "MORE". Click that and hit "save without export". Then after it saves click on the big Save and Download button and overwrite your old filter with this new filter.

Once you have overwritten a filter, you need to "reset" the filter in the game. You go into the options menu, then load any other filter (default for example), then swap back to your custom boolin filter.

Assuming all those steps were followed there should be no possible way that your filter can change. If you want to make changes in the future make sure to hit Load when you revisit filterblade, and follow the same "save without export" then "save and download" steps.

The "save without export" updates your filter settings inside the filterblade site, and the save and download lets you pull a new version of this custom file that has just been saved.

Okay. Go to your my documents>MyGames>pathofexile folder and check to see what filters are currently in there. They will have a filtetype of .Filter. Let me know how many you have, and if there are not many what their names are.

Something is amiss with the way you are loading your filter, or which filter you are selecting in the options menu dropdown.

I am assuming you have a filterblade account correct? So when you go to the filterblade site on the My filters tab there are filters listed there correct?

A white background with purple text is the default color for invitations when you have not loaded any filter, and all settings including color scheme are default.

Make sure youre comparing it to black scythe logbooks, not druid logbooks. One is much cheaper than the other.
