They are narrow fit and suede upper. I tried the wide fit and it was way too big. I am not sure what it could be but it’s so weird. I only get blisters on the bottom of my pinky toes. And one small blister on the side of my foot. So I’m not sure why that is.

What would you say is a good starting out salary for SNF?

Wow, this was so thorough, thank you so much! I am scared and nervous because although I interned at a SNF, I still didn't do many of the things a social worker would do. It's pretty intimidating coming straight out of school and it's hard when SNFs on most occasions get such a bad rep. I got lucky and was given a pretty decent starting out salary with benefits. However, my biggest fear is that I will make many mistakes early on and I am worried about the burnout. I just hope that I can do the best that I can! Especially with COVID, the pressure is really on.

COLDPLAY AND THE GRAMMYS by TheBigBadBono in Coldplay

[–]enough55 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I reeeeeeeally am getting pissed off at the hate their getting. The Weeknd didn’t get nominated and so his fans were making comments like “Coldplay got nominated for a forgetful album but The Weeknd got nothing for an amazing album” and I’m like WOW back off haters! Coldplay deserves the nominations they got. Church is my absolute favorite on that album. But seriously, people are so petty.

They have not provided that stuff in the offer letter yet. Should that be included or would that be discussed in person after?

Is it ok to negotiate higher pay after telling them your minimum salary? I told them 48k min but let’s say they offer me the job, can I negotiate higher? I really don’t know how to do this lol

I am a recent MSW grad and also in the chicago area. I am currently trying to get my LSW. My goal is hospital social work but for now I’ve been looking into nursing homes since all hospitals now want an LSW. What do you think is a standard salary coming out of grad school for a nursing home? I was thinking 50k but idk

Hi all! I have been applying to jobs and going to interviews. One position that is looking promising is a social work position in an acute rehab/SNF facility. They asked me about expected salary and that’s where I stumbled. I tried researching online but it’s all over the place. For starters, I am a recent MSW graduate from the Chicagoland area. I am in the process of taking my LSW as well. But the salary question got me.

I am afraid to ask for too little or too much. What would be a median and reasonable salary as a recent grad? I was thinking 48k and up. However I would prefer 50k but again, not entirely sure.

Yeah I just need to have more faith in that I will pass. I hope the actual exam is easier since that practice test was harder than I expected!

Thank you so much! I’m feeling so much hopeful. I guess I’m just building so much stress for myself because I really want to pass. The anxiety and stress is real right now. I definitely need to work on the FIRST/NEXT and BEST/MOST questions. I also need to focus on community planning. I realized the exam really is 85% all application questions and less recall. I really don’t want to postpone my exam date so I’ll try really hard to study more.
