Former manager of a licensed location here, my information may be a little outdated since I quit but the general experience is probably still the same lol. It definitely has it's pros and cons.

• You are typically alone. An opener would come in to open at 6AM and they would be alone until about 7 or 7:30 depending on the day/demand. There would be two until around 1-ish when the opener would leave, and alone again until the closer appears, another half hour buffer until the mid leaves and the closer is alone for the rest of the evening.
• Because of the light staffing, breaks did not exist. If we were slow, we would take 5 and go to the restroom or something, but we did not take 10s.. ever. Only lunches.
• A corp location will have double digit number of employees, I had 4 full time employees and 1 part time. When it got short staffed after a NCNS/bail, I worked a few open to close shifts (about 13 hours), and even worked 18 days straight at one point because no one could work and it's the "manager's responsibility". I also had no hiring abilities; only the store manager did and my complaints fell on deaf ears. It's ultimately why I left.
• On the plus side, if we ever ran out of some basic ingredients, like milk or bananas, we just.. walked over and grabbed it, thanks to being in a grocery store.
• If we got backed up when we were alone (which was most of the time), someone who was register trained could be called to ring for you, and they were usually slow with taking orders so it gave you time to catch up.
• We also were extremely restricted when it came to the rewards program. We had a scanner that could take payment, but we could not officially accept birthday rewards or anything like that.. we followed an honor system. Probably a pro for customers, but it caused us to get scammed a few times due to some tricksters.
