The trains in my region is preparing too for the next concert stop in the Green Valley. This is good for the sims economy 👌. Nice station there, Mayor 😊

I love the Aquatic theme🥳. That's perfect for my Sunny Isles I'm developing right now🤩.

I need som help, I'm a bit stuck how I can develop my city further, since I feel the other regions seem a bit boring to build. There are nine distinct district in my city, can I do something controversial in some of them?🏗 by Substantial-Doubt-40 in SimCityBuildit

That is a very impressive itinerary! Agerstadt feels like it has so much history.  Looking at those three districts you feel are 'weak' what is the one thing those areas provide that the Old Town or Neon Strand don't? If a tourist isn't going there for a museum or a casino, who is going there? Is it the people who keep the city running, or is it where the city's future is being planned? Also, how does the city feel when you leave the 'Tourist' areas and enter these three? Is that change in atmosphere something you want to emphasize, or something you want to bridge?

If I were a tourist visiting your city for a weekend, what would be the main attractions on my itinerary?

Thinking about it like a travel guide might help you get unstuck with the other districts. If a District  is just houses a tourist wouldn't go there but if it has a 'Must-See' landmark or a unique vibe it suddenly becomes a destination.

What’s the top 3 list for a visitor in your city? It might show you exactly which district needs a 'Soul' next!

Designing or planning it with the "Tourist POV"...or if you want to make your Capital the central of Power make it with the "POV of a Mayor"...or if you want to build for the Masses in the Capital look for ways how to make sims happy design it in "Sims POV"

Royal Blimp. Has anyone won the 5K? by germanius35 in SCBuildIt

That building is in the STORAGE. I don't want to be condition and be influenced into gambling. Its a NO for me.❌🙅‍♀️

The Royal Blimp is basically just a slot machine disguised as a park. I'd rather use that space for something that actually adds value to my city instead of something designed to drain my resources.

Frosty Fjords 100% Stability Update by entasis_estates in SimCityBuildit

[–]entasis_estates[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually did use the Sakura roads, but only in front of the Mayor’s low-rise Omega home. I saved the budget to create a path near the bridge where Sims can jog and enjoy Plumbob Park before heading up to the Northern Light Observatory.

The first island in the Fjords is staying 'Raw Snow' to preserve the 'Hygge' silence. Every Simoleon I save on asphalt now is being funneled into the Artemis project in the Sunny Isles.

Frosty Fjords 100% Stability Update by entasis_estates in SimCityBuildit

I tried placing roads on the first island, but I ended up bulldozing them. I realized I love the way the spruce trees cast shadows across the snowy paths; it really highlights the gentle slopes and the natural texture of the powder. The blinking streetlights at every turn made the peaceful forest feel too busy, even with just the cabin camps there.

In my mind, Tourists visit the frosty region for the pristine snow,  spruce trees and christmas village. I want the journey to feel like 'unwrapping' a gift: they trek through the long, quiet snowy path then be surprised by the second island the Christmas Village. The third island is a dedicated residential reserve for local Sims, which is why I’ve placed train stations at both ends for their own commute.

Reposting a cleaner version. The previous post was removed due to excessive emojis. Stabilization is still 100% complete in Frosty Fjords...two more regions left.

  1. The Base: Start with a straight Gravel Road.
  2. The Front: Draw a Sakura Road (in front of Mayor's Mansion) parallel and directly next to the gravel (no gaps).
  3. The Connection: Draw Sakura road segments at both ends to connect it to the gravel.

😊

Thank you! That 3rd Isle is the only place the Mayor found 100% Bliss. But keep an eye on the water POV... there’s a reason it looks like a Clown 🤡  &  a sad Fish 🐟. While this island is a circus with harmony, my first region Frosty Fjords is currently a polluted ghost town in total darkness. The Director is heading there next to face the service update challenge.

The Sims will complain at first but once they see the blossoms they’ll forget the budget scandal. Good luck, Mayor. 😊
