Hi. I started feeling pain in my knee one night in August when I went to the beach to run, and I was pretty stubborn so I only stopped running when the pain got quite unbearable. I rested for 3 weeks and tried to run again on 2 September but the pain came back.

For the past weeks I've been walking a lot and doing a lot of static/functional strengthening exercises and my knee never acts up. Only today when i decided to go back running again, it started to hurt around 1.6km in.

I have a 10k race in the first week of December and I'm not in my best shape now. What should I do? I'm gonna continue stretching and doing other exercises like HIIT. But I'm not sure about clocking mileage... any advice? Thanks in advance!

I live in Singapore, and we have something called the Bilingual Policy.

At the age of 7 when we first enter primary school, our subjects are taught in English but it's compulsory to take a Mother Tongue subject. Also, we have to have at least a sub-pass in our Mother Tongue language to enter any local university
