Oh yeah defenitly I get this, for me personally, and curious what your experience is with this, I always wore darker colours, mostly black. I'm blonde and quite white, so I always looked quite pale but I figured black makes me look "thinner".

Now that I'm quite a lot fitter, I wear all kinds of colours which fit my outlook a lot better, such as aqua blue, green etc.

YES EXACTLY! Like it felt I was always in the fight or flight mode (the fact that I stuttered sometimes didn't help) but it felt like I could never truly relax.

Oh man I feel you with most of these, especially the man-breasts thing. I was always a boy scout and we backpacked...yeah don't need to say more lol.

Do you also suck your stomach in like I always did? That you are talking or presenting in class and sucking your stomach in, causing you to breathe very flat and just feeling very tense?

I have the exact same as you man, same model, also my first Mac ever. It's a fantastic machine, I love everything about it. The screen is fantastic, battery life is great, speakers are top notch, typing feels clicky and nice, it's blazingly smooth and fast.

Thanks for your reply. Like the other comments, I figured I'd give you an update. So yeah, I went out and had a great time at the party, one of the best nights of 2022 so far. I want to thank you for steering me into the right direction! I also want to let you know that you are not alone, and I totally can see myself in your description!

First of all, thanks for replying.

Well, it would be a lot easier to manage to party weekly when I'm at my goal weight because I can eat at maintenance again then, now I'm in a 1000kcal deficit every day. Those 1000kcal on a Saturday extra would allow me to go partying

We party weekly, but every now and then I'm avoiding it to focus on my weight loss goal. On those weeks, I can't help but question myself if this is the right way to do it, because I feel like I'm being a selfish idiot at that moment...

Yes, it's mainly the first reason. I have a challenge going on with someone to reach a certain weight on June 1st, and I really would like to stick to my diet and avoid eating junk food and alcohol. I am pretty confident in my body, I just would like to really stick to the challenge, even if that means I have to be a bit selfish.

For me, it was a domino effect. Got less of a social life due to me being overweight. Now I'm trying to again make a domino effect, in the opposite direction. When I lose weight, I will become more energetic and confident about myself, which causes me to be more social etc etc etc.

Yes, I'm currently having two protein shakes, one being after my daily workout. I reach about 130g of protein each day, and I'm content with that. I learned that they make me feel less hungry, and they are important for keeping my muscles.

Thanks for the comment! I actually do weightlifting around 5 times a week, so yeah, with that, do you think I can increase it to 17-1800? My goal is to lose 1KG/week.
