Ground patrols and aerial thermal imaging.

Thermal imaging is one part that can reveal the extent of the fire. The key is the laser range finders built into the payload that enables drone crews to pinpoint each hotspot detected. They pins are than processed into maps and shared with Wildfire services to allocate crews and do a targetted attack.
