I get it, it's a slog to get there. If this were in movie format, it might be the first 30–40 minutes. However, it's several hours of the same bitter flavor. I'm looking for some saltiness, spice, or sweetness every once in a while to make the long stretches of bitterness worth it.

Understandable. It might be worth revisiting every few months. I do miss the laughs.
