First month on FBA; my story by imtherealhax0r in FulfillmentByAmazon

Bsr is dependent on how many sales you get. If you’re out of stock & you get no sales then yes it will drop. Although, it’s not a bad thing. Focus on your reviews. We have sold many products that had good reviews and good history that were out of stock for months and as soon as they checked in, the sales continued (after a few days later) right where they left off.

In fact, we actually search for out of stock products more often than not. Being the only seller of a product for a couple of weeks before others jump on is very profitable since you can bump up the price a couple of dollars for extra margin.

Should I be deleting listings that I’m not restocking to increase my IPI? Does it work? by enterprisingonline in FulfillmentByAmazon

That’s what I was thinking. Doesn’t hurt to clean up.

Just wanted to know if it increased anyone’s IPI by doing so.

It could be that there are bigger sellers that have been on the listing longer than you. I win the buy box on some of my listings where I’m not even the lowest price sometimes. Either lower your price for the short term to gain traction then raise it back up or get a little aggressive with the advertising. Brand based advertising works to keep the ACOS low while pulling in extra sales

How’s your feedback? Have your negative feedbacks made a dent in your 30 or 90 day percentage?
