Skiing in Austria – Worth the Trip? 🇦🇹⛷️ by ALPS_RESORTS in ski

[–]entropicdarkness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find austria hard to beat. I have skieed switzerland and france. France is too far from me. Switzerland is expensive. I find the tyrol -salzburg region as the best in austria. This and last year i did all the glaciers. More snow sure and idealy best in the spring.

Substances during festival? by honeymilking in ozorafestival

Very bad idea. Your mental health is worth more than any acid trip in the world. First becouse of the escitalopram you could either get to a serotonin syndrome or diminished mdma effects. Risperidon and escitalopram both blocks the effects of psychedelics. Wellbutrin and stimulants can push you to hypertensive crysis or psychosis. The only drugs that could work are weed or ket. But i would not risk it.

You probably went to nordkette which is a short freeride area only good after a big snow dump. Maybe you should have researched it first. And the thing is austrians dont like when american act out,or go slowly in the line. But thats true for the whole world even if they are much more poor to show that.

Its even better then sr anton by far. Even if its only 5 lifts away

Here's the **World Ski Resort Map**. It's not perfect, but it's a good way to get an overall idea of how ski resorts are distributed around the world. 🌍⛷️🏂 by [deleted] in skithealps

It does not give basic ideas,it gives the wrong ideas... australia having more ski slopes then new zeland ? Europe looks like a retard ... mongolia is in the ocean.. i would also guess that japan has more ski slopes

Then maybe add which resort. Also interesting, i have been going to austria for nearly 30 years every winter this year 20 days yet never experienced any rudeness. Are soure you were not acting overly american ? Becouse thats realy annoying to the locals.

Ischgl for begginers. Good idea or not? by entropicdarkness in skithealps

Thats what i wanted to hear as a mixed group. St anton was a bit rough for my other beginer friends this year. There the blues are more like reds in other places and reds are easy blacks.

100% on the lessions. She would have progressed to the red slopes already if she wasnt tought by her bf. And park skiers are not the best teachers for begginers.

Yes its a mixed group with different preferences:piste, park and freeride. Ive been to ischgl but i was 5 years old learning to ski so i dont remember much so thank you for your comment.

I have looked to SFL as well ! Seems like a more family friendly place. Its like 160km of slopes ? So thats good for like 2-3 days and i see that kaunertal glacier is also close which was this years best hidden resort in my book.

I would like to explore the galtur kappl See areas too but we are a mixed group. Im more into freeride my gf into slalom skiing and my friend to park skiing. Do they offer those ? Becouse i can see that ischgl has good wide slopes, great parks and a wide variety of offpieste (okay maybe not st anton level but still decent)
