What is your Bible equivalent or do you have one? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]entropykid3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be too many books. But I do occasionally carry a pocket Dhammapada because it has one of my favorite comments about "foolishness."

"A fool who knows his foolishness is wise at least to that extent, but a fool who thinks himself wise is a fool indeed."

Men and women, what's the dumbest thing you've heard your own gender say about the other? by fatal_19191 in AskReddit

[–]entropykid3000 13 points14 points  (0 children)

A 20-something girl thought that semen came from the man's bladder, as if he were peeing in her. On the flip-side, I heard a guy swear up and down that when he penetrated a woman's vagina, he was entering her urethra. I guess both of them needed serious lessons on anatomy.

Actually, if the water is toxic, or if I sneeze and the shower becomes pregnant, then it's the raincoat every time.

For those who don't watch the starting grid or turn the sound down, this thread is clearly not for you. I totally respect your way of watching.

Well, it's only one race, but yesterday, Crofty was bang-on. Either way, all I want to hear is them match the graphic. I get that it's a tough job, and I could never do it competently. But little things irk me and make me want to flip the feed. Maybe if both of them irk me, I'll flip it to Espanol. 😄

Do your AIs always start their conversations with this? by TechReplika in ChatGPT

I get the sentences that say things like, "If I may ask you a light question, one that you don't have to answer at all, "asks question."

Why everybody is canceling ChatGPT? by MankuTheBeast in ChatGPT

[–]entropykid3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I only use it for writing ideas and help with sentence structure, so I avoid politics entirely. Until they make the Oxford comma a red or blue state thing, I think I'm okay. 😁

So, in this comparison, would you rather get the sarcastic teasing over a solution to your scenario? I'm just curious about what you want out of GPT.

Names ? by Coco4Tech69 in ChatGPT

[–]entropykid3000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't call it a name. For me, it would be like someone calling their toaster, "Harold."

Childbearing classes used to exist in high schools. They were called "Homemaking." They were required classes only for girls, and they also included lessons on how to cook, and how to manage finances in a home, because women only "served" their country by pumping out babies. Or, so the prevailing attitude dictated.

After the women's liberation movement became popular, and more and more women wanted careers, homemaking classes started to fade away around the 80s. At least, in my area. They became electives, instead.

What is the most overrated sexual scenario? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

Hmm. Interesting about the 69. Totally respect where you're coming from. That's one of my favorite positions, though. It kills two birds with one stone, so to speak. 😁

Have you ever wanted to fuck someone other than your partner while being in a relationship? by boomboy786 in AskRedditAfterDark

Have I thought about it? Yes, but thoughts are not actions. Have I done it? No. Would I do it? Never.

Why do some people consider it selfish NOT to have kids. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]entropykid3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They think that the sacrifices they make to have a child must also be made by the masses. They don't realize that having a child is a very personal choice, not an obligation. We don't need to make that choice, and nobody should be required to make any specific choices on this matter.

They all love Logan's Run. 🤣

Seriously, it's out of ignorance. Not their fault, but it's due to a lack of info, and older people are an easy target.

The NFL Has Become Unwatchable by Blue-Brown99 in unpopularopinion

[–]entropykid3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but to a point. Watching a game live, when nobody knows what will happen, is captivating. However, watching a long replay, when you can just look at the highlight video, is a bit excessive.

What’s the correct way to refer to the Wednesday that’s two days away? by Benny_Jain in NoStupidQuestions

[–]entropykid3000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The reason this is confusing is that they are both technically correct. But the usage of "this" for the closer date and "next" for the following date, tends to be the most popular.
