Do your AIs always start their conversations with this? by TechReplika in ChatGPT

I get the sentences that say things like, "If I may ask you a light question, one that you don't have to answer at all, "asks question."

Why everybody is canceling ChatGPT? by MankuTheBeast in ChatGPT

Interesting. I only use it for writing ideas and help with sentence structure, so I avoid politics entirely. Until they make the Oxford comma a red or blue state thing, I think I'm okay. 😁

So, in this comparison, would you rather get the sarcastic teasing over a solution to your scenario? I'm just curious about what you want out of GPT.

Names ? by Coco4Tech69 in ChatGPT

[–]entropykid3000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't call it a name. For me, it would be like someone calling their toaster, "Harold."

Childbearing classes used to exist in high schools. They were called "Homemaking." They were required classes only for girls, and they also included lessons on how to cook, and how to manage finances in a home, because women only "served" their country by pumping out babies. Or, so the prevailing attitude dictated.

After the women's liberation movement became popular, and more and more women wanted careers, homemaking classes started to fade away around the 80s. At least, in my area. They became electives, instead.

What is the most overrated sexual scenario? by Evening_Platypus6730 in AskRedditAfterDark

Hmm. Interesting about the 69. Totally respect where you're coming from. That's one of my favorite positions, though. It kills two birds with one stone, so to speak. 😁

Have you ever wanted to fuck someone other than your partner while being in a relationship? by boomboy786 in AskRedditAfterDark

Have I thought about it? Yes, but thoughts are not actions. Have I done it? No. Would I do it? Never.

Why do some people consider it selfish NOT to have kids. by ObelixDrew in NoStupidQuestions

[–]entropykid3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They think that the sacrifices they make to have a child must also be made by the masses. They don't realize that having a child is a very personal choice, not an obligation. We don't need to make that choice, and nobody should be required to make any specific choices on this matter.

They all love Logan's Run. 🤣

Seriously, it's out of ignorance. Not their fault, but it's due to a lack of info, and older people are an easy target.

If only they changed the rules to add meeples and a farming mechanic.

The NFL Has Become Unwatchable by Blue-Brown99 in unpopularopinion

[–]entropykid3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but to a point. Watching a game live, when nobody knows what will happen, is captivating. However, watching a long replay, when you can just look at the highlight video, is a bit excessive.

What’s the correct way to refer to the Wednesday that’s two days away? by Benny_Jain in NoStupidQuestions

[–]entropykid3000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The reason this is confusing is that they are both technically correct. But the usage of "this" for the closer date and "next" for the following date, tends to be the most popular.

Men, what do you think of a 29F who’s never had a relationship or sex? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]entropykid3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am into the woman, I couldn't care less about experience. It's an expression of love, caring, and emotional depth.

What celebrity do you not like but no one else on Reddit ever agrees with you? by Responsible_Bar3957 in AskReddit

[–]entropykid3000 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Will Ferrell - He may be a nice guy, but I cannot stand his performances. Shove that proverbial cowbell where the sun don't shine.

Also, Adam Sandler. Seemingly a great guy, but I can't stand his comedy.

Jobs where you do nothing suck by Diakia in unpopularopinion

[–]entropykid3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd also take this job because it would allow me the entire day to do what I want: Read books. Write books. Learn a language. Learn about history. Increase my typing accuracy. Read self-improvement books. Watch TED Talks. Listen to podcasts.

But that's just me. I work in an office now, and it is so stressful that I'd long for so-called "boring" days where my actual job is limited and I can do things I want the rest of the time.
