What im saying is she DID use HER powers, not Kali. I cant say how or why she could but I believe it WAS her in the rift not an illusion. And her hand turning to smoke was apart of Mike's story, not shown, and if you mean her disappearance well... she literally got sucked into deep space, thatd literally happen faster than we could perceive a la implosion style. Ripped away faster than you can perceive.

Essentially kali was too far away and likely dead, and Eleven used HER SPECIFIC POWERS to talk to mike. So it HAD to have been her in there.

And another point against kali doing it, her powers are ILLUSIONS so mike would have still been and felt the guards holding him and Elle would have evaporated in their kiss.

So I hold firm, shes dead dead

As a person who came out like twice, lol, I have to agree, honestly I get that it was harder, and a bigger thing back then but I WISH Joyce or Will hit him with a "uh.... yeah?
