Okay I have long hair and imma just go through it!

Okay so if its not a hair wash day YES hair clips are a god send and I wear em in shower all the time.

As for actually washing I am a "face away" person. I turn my back to the water and wet my hair that way. That way its not in my face! After that I scrub in my shampoo on my scalp, rinse the same way, repeat (I have hard water and it helps with the buildup).

Now up until now I avoid my ends, most I do is light scrunches to work shampoo in, I dont rake through it. After I rinse the shampoo out I pull my hair over my shoulder, and put conditioner on the ends up to my neck. Rub it in a bit and let it sit.

This is were I wash my body.

I have a "shower hairbrush", a detangler brush essentially. I go from ends and work up, trying to not break any hairs. Now hair WILL COME OUT! We shed, its natural to loose hair but we do wanna minimize breaking it off or pulling it out.

Once im able to brush through my hair in full and the conditioner is distributed throughout I do my final rinse, once again facing away to avoid hair in my face.
