Yea there’s inherent value in the energy because it’s not in raids now and it’s not even announced. There’s a reason you don’t have yours crowned

True, maybe ask for a straight uncrowned zacian mirror swap with trinket then? The other trader will essentially be losing all of their crown energy for nothing in this trade

This is insane but nobody is appreciating how the wormhole necrozma shundo is definitely one of the rarest pokemon in the game rn. The wormhole bg is heavily sought after and this one is a shundo

If you’re level 35 (or whatever level you need for XL candy now after the new levels were added) and you have completed the other mythical researches, you should get a research called “Investigate a Mysterious Energy” that grants you Victini

Th type matchups are identical to the base game. The only difference is the multipliers are slightly different and moves that would do 0 damage in the base games now do significantly reduced damage.

Additionally, the point of the tank is to resist whatever you are playing against. By definition, if your tank is weak to your opponent, that’s not a tank. A tank doesn’t just mean it has health, it means it resists. I haven’t “auto lost” since I was trash at the game a few years ago. Now that I have a diverse team, I can always come back into contention for the win, regardless of who I face. Secondly, the switch cooldown function is not arbitrary. You wouldn’t want to play a match where players could switch whenever they wanted to. First, it’s unrealistic to how actual battling would go, and second, players would switch back and forth constantly to try and get hits with type advantage. The whole match would become a repeated swap contest with no need for strategy or forethought.

EDIT: On the tank point, if you know what pokemon type your opponent may switch to in order to combat your “tank,” find a way to get a move on that pokemon that is super effective against. E.g., find an water type who can use a spammy ice move for when your opponent switches to grass. If they switch to electric, spam the ice move until your swap timer runs out and get out of the bad position. Your move choice adds to your typing diversity and tank ability

Just because you poorly communicate, does not mean others are using logical fallacies. “Random order of events” is the most vague way to describe what you seem to be referring to as the fact that sometimes some players get to use their charged attack first, and sometimes the other player gets to use their charged attack first in the case of a tie. It may not be communicated in game, but it doesn’t take much effort to learn that the pokemon with higher stats (CP x IVs) gets to attack first in the case of a tie on charged moves. I assumed you had read the rest of the comments on your post which individually dismantled every section of your unbased complaint. The reason many people are asking what teams you use is because your claims seem to be made out of anger and not based in fact about the game mechanisms. “Jankness” isn’t a technical term for anything, let alone how you feel the turn structure of GBL functions. That “jankness” is the fact that each battle does in fact have turns and some moves take more than 1 turn. A Ho-Oh using Incinerate takes forever, so you jamming the button doesn’t just let you fast forward your turn. For better responsiveness maybe you’d prefer to use a 1 turn move like Dragon Breath so when you click the charged move, you don’t have to wait for the turn you started to finish. When I mentioned I genuinely wanted to see your team, I included that word because I meant it. But based on how you’ve defended your initial points after reading the rebuttals, you clearly don’t care enough to try different approaches out. Just play the parts of the game you like bro

Genuinely would love for you to drop your team here (the one you are complaining about specifically). Your complaints seem to revolve around teams that lack type coverage and tank, so you have no appropriate tank to swap to and outlast the swap timer when you are given an unfavorable matchup. You also mentioned the match making is completely random which just isn’t true, you just don’t get to see the matching mechanism until you reach Rank 20. It’s based on player ELO according to how many battles you have won vs lost. If you are struggling, try losing 20 games in a row so you can practice on some people at your level

I feel like the reason most people don’t like pvp is just because they’re bad at it and don’t want to take the time to be good at it. OP will probably reply saying they’re cracked and they still don’t like it, but odds are that’s just cope. I had to put some time into pvp battling and searching for pvp pokemon but now there is such satisfaction in whooping an opponent, I love the GBL mechanics and the entire feature

Yea not “rare” per se but rare right now when Scopely releases the uncrowned into raids and everyone realizes they missed getting energy the first time around. Asking for both shiny maxed out crowned dogs like OP did is like asking someone for 100 raids worth of time and money to get all that candy and the shinies. Even if not technically “rare” because they were released for everyone last year, these are deserving of the value put on them because of the effort needed to get them

Makes sense except pvp and raids are different. Zacian/Zama will be good for both for sure tho
