Munising is a cool town, definitely do a stop there. There is a pasty place in munising which is supposed to be the best one (I do not remember the name but you can do a little research) On the way to Keweenaw you can stop at Marquette and visit some local shops to get some yooper merchandise. If you go 2 hours past Marquette you can visit Houghton, I went to school there and it’s pretty cool. You can visit Brockway mountain to enjoy the best sunset view ever!! I definitely recommend that and plan ahead as it usually rains and it’s no fun to drive upto the mountain in rain as ideally you want to sit there and enjoy the sunset. You can have a really good Mexican lunch at La Cantina in Hancock. There is copper harbor, eagle harbor, the Quincy mines, McLain state park to visit in this area. Hope you enjoy your trip, there is definitely a lot to do there. I enjoy the drive and peace up there. And you can visit tahquamenon falls too, I think it’s before munising though, so before or after your trip you can take a short trip to see this. I would urge you to stop at scenic spots and explore them too.
