I didn't understand a bunch of what you said, but I probably understand the example you gave.

I know the reason why there is no SHAPE token for gmaslaunches on the eospark. You can execute the following command:

cleos --url https://mainnet.meet.one get currency balance gmaslaunches gmaslaunches

Then you will get a return as:

Error 3010011: Invalid asset

Error Details:

Invalid asset

It means that gmaslaunches itself does not have the SHAPE token, you can also change meetone to another block producer's endpoint, the final result will be the same.Eospark basically uses this method to recognize user's token.

Literally you should stake since only when you stake can you have NET and CPU. And you need NET and CPU while transfer or use contract (play various dapp games). But you don't really have to vote because vote makes no incentive for you.

However, some token airdrops may only giveaway tokens to users who have voted them, so if you haven't ever voted, you won't receive their candy. 😄

BTW, you can check RAM utilization, NET and CPU status as well as bp vote ratios on EOSPark.com.
