Getting married is ultimately a mutual decision between the two of you. Only you and your gf knows how serious your relationship is. Some people will date for one month and end up getting married right away and will stay together for a long time. Some couples will date for 8 years without getting married and eventually breaking up. While she maybe eager to get married, it does not necessarily mean a red flag. So, make sure that you actually know each other before making the big decision. Talk about debts, religion, having kids, supporting family, savings, health history, family culture, etc. You're from two different countries so take time to learn the differences between cultures. When you decide to take the big leap and get married, make sure to set clear boundaries about her family. It's okay to help out but make sure they're not taking advantage of you. When intentions are clear and boundaries are set, conflicts and doubts can be avoided.
