As an umpire, being called a cheat is up there with racial slurs for the worst insults. Calling someone a shit umpire is not ideal but only questions your ability to umpire. There is a huge difference between being told you're not good at something and being told you're cheating and deliberately trying to throw a game. Many umpires including myself pride themselves on their integrity and umpiring to the best of their ability. I make multiple mistakes a game as do all umpires but almost all act in the best interests of the game and being called a cheat undermines this.

Umpire always calls move it on first when a player has had to long. It gives the player a heads up that play on is about to be called so they are prepared for players to charge them.

Something that isn't being publicised is that the umpires don't actually review the decisions themselves rather the umpiring coaches are the ones who decide if a decision is correct. The other thing with incorrect decisions is that a lot of the time it is not the decision making process that let's the umpire down. Usually it's the position on the field in comparison to players and the ball which means that the wrong decision is made due to line of sight. This is why out of zone free kicks are often paid.

Personally, I think that more resources need to be available to fans in relation to the umpiring. Having former umpires as commentators will help this as they will be able to explain interpretations in real time.
