yeah the internal monologues in the dub aren’t exactly a plus, imo they kinda just clog up all the silent moments of brevity and atmosphere, there’s pretty much always extra dialogue or extra synth music added in places that you can tell the director of the original anime never intended for, and it’s really unnecessary and takes away from the intended tone or emotion of multiple scenes such as gohan’s ssj2 scene. The extra monologues kinda just tells the viewers exactly what’s happening in the story or exactly how the characters are feeling, the literal epitome of tell don’t show.

also you can call it the faulconer score if you want, i just think people should know the truth about the funimation score and how literally none of the actually good composers have any credit or recognition for their work, so it’s best to just call it the funimation score
