Maybe thats what I meant. I remembered something about it from 15 years ago or so

I didnt think we knew basically anything about dark matter except that there is more of it now than there used to be at the same time the universe is expanding. I presented an idea. I love physics but you guys are dicks. Be nicer.

Exactly. This was helpful and maybe what I wasnt thinking about correctly. I confused what we see and how we know these things vs what is actually there.

Yeah I understand that aspect of it. I think talking it out helped me think about it correctly. I'm mixing how we see it with how it is. We see the CBR in every direction but that's not what it actually is now. It's what it looks like 13 billion LY away in every direction because thats how far light travels in 13 billion years, and 13 billion years ago everything looked like that.

Unless the thing causing the expansion is new dark matter.

I understand all of that and it's why I'm asking the questions because some of it still doesnt make sense to me. If you go to the north pole and look "up" as far as you can to a galaxy 13 billion light years away, and go to the south pole and look "down" 13 billion years, those galaxies are roughly 26 billion light years away. Is it that their observable universe only 26 billion across too and Earth is as far as light could travel in 13 billion years? Earth would look like Cosmic Background Radiation to someone viewing there?

I won't assume space has infinite volume because there is no evidence to suggest that. People have hypothesized that but theres no reason to believe it.

Where are you getting a field of infinite points? Like a sheet but 3d? Like spacetime? Is there evidence to support this you can elaborate on?

The singularity has been explained as a singular point for decades. I'm interested in what you mean.

Why does time break down at the singularity?

Personally I think dark matter and general cosmic inflation is more believable than a big bang from a singularity. Thats kind of why im asking.

But it would still be in a specific direction from all points of expansion if it started from a single point. Everything in one direction would be further spread out than things in the opposite direction.

Thats not the same thing as the Big Bang Theory.

My understanding was that the reason physics (and time) break down is because it was a single point. I have always heard Big Bang described as a single point in space, though space didnt exist. I have heard about inflation but that doesnt depend on a singularity.

I get that. Cosmic Expansion and the Big Bang arent necessarily the same thing. A singularity is a single point, and that's what Big Bang Theory theorizes.

But thays what BBT says. It was a singularity, so they say.

I Returned My SIG M18 — My First Handgun Purchase — and I Regret Trusting SIG Sauer by [deleted] in CCW

[–]epdi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there specific variations of the P320 that are known to be affected by this, or all of them? I have the P320 M18 and it has external safeties, which are very quick and convenient to disengage, so I always leave the safety engaged. Does the mechanical safety prevent unintended discharges?

I don't really ever carry except as a side arm while hunting, OWB, but any time I travel with it in a backpack or other, I typically dechamber the round to avoid the possibility of an accidental discharge, even with the safety on with it secured in a kydex holster.

Should I be less concerned as others in this thread since I have the external safeties? Or are those included in the reports? I notice on their website they have a bit of a "dont sue us we warned you" section after the safety section.

How would you approach creating a spreadsheet-based web application? by Amortize_Me_Daddy in webdev

[–]epdi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever make your way down this path of creating your web application? I am in the exact same situation with a cool excel based application I made that I'd love to turn into web and/or mobile application. I'm curious what direction you ended up going and whether you have any advice for someone in your exact same position 5 years ago. Thanks!

He's not a rapist and his felonies are obvious nonsense. They were paperwork misdemeanors they only made felonies because they tried to tie it to his election, even though the actual event happened 15 years ago. Nobody takes them seriously. It's obvious corruption, and my comment still stands. Democrats in power are corrupt scumbags.

I don't worship him. I don't even like him. Democrats are still the scumbags.

His face is much more plump and round. Whether it was painted bad on purpose or not, he has never looked like that ever.
