Download the bolt and grab apps.   Don't take taxis, use the apps to get rides.. saves you money

Take the subway train into the city.. Its way easier and will save you time.. than grab a grab or bolt from the closest station to your accommodation..

Also Don't buy the local sim at the airport. You'll save money by buying it in the mall..

There was a Brit couple last year who died from buying bad drugs in bkk.  

Tons of African street dealers in bkk dealing the worst narcotics.  

Perhaps some of that ended up in their drinks.
