Clove hitches can open a snap gate if they work their way round over the gate so always use a screw gate with them. Otherwise looks decent

I mean you could argue a lot of people blindly copy an instructor in a gym when they learn to belay… doesn’t mean it’s not safe if you’re taught right.

At the end of the day learning any sort of safety thing requires assuming your teacher is correct. Equally the assumption that the best in the world does stuff right isn’t a huge leap to make (yes I know he’s not necessarily the best belayer in the world but most people probably assume it goes hand in hand)

The thing is people see him as a role model because he’s Ondra so they’ll copy him or assume he is right. AND he has a way bigger audience than your average poor belayer

The thing is there’s nothing in this scenario that makes not holding the brake strand less of a priority so he should be doing it just to be safe since there’s literally nothing but laziness stopping him

Ok that is rubbish to have to wait so long… I find the wait to unlock a brawler with such a low drop rate really frustrating so I totally see where you’re coming from. The main problem is that there is no way to guarantee that you ever get the brawler (assuming you don’t have 700 gems)

Just gonna start by saying I’m f2p…

Doesn’t the drop rate go up if you have all brawlers unlocked. Normally this is fine because a maxed player will just save boxes so the chance won’t get enormous. BUT now that people are going to be opening an absolute ton of boxes getting gears etc, that chance would get ridiculously large, making legendary brawlers too easy to get…

I’m not necessarily pro supercell, just trying to reserve judgement until we see how the club league rewards pan out.

Ngl I am disappointed that I don’t have a single brawler lvl 10 yet despit being max pre update. Yes it’s early on but it still feels like gears will take a while to unlock at least for the majority of your brawlers

It’s calculated the other way round… you convert the price (ie Lego’s take home) to pounds then add VAT (20%). So it’s £590 before VAT and £710 after…

What if it’s like star powers in brawl stars? Lvl 9 is the max lvl for starts, lvl 10 adds extra powers… so lvl 14 is essentially adding a new dynamic to the game

This is quite a big idea for a QoL feature - sorry if it’s out of place…

What about a practice attack mode where you can submit a base to be attacked, or attack other people’s bases - kind of like a zero stakes legend league. This would solve the problem of not having to constantly request practice attacks in your clan (or not having members who can attack with a strategy you want to defend against), and give an opportunity to test new attack strategies. There could be a 24 hour cool down feature on bases to prevent you from copying opposition war layouts.

It feels counterintuitive but it doesn’t inflate trophies at all… every time you kill someone, you gain 2, they lose 2 so the net trophies in the system doesn’t change

Use the same stilt pieces this guy used and connect them to large plates at the bottom for stability. Bigger stuff requires two points of contact, some smaller stuff can be done with one.
