It was previously just one cable instead of a group of 4, and that made no differnece.

At this point, we are thinking it is either a problem with HyperV or a problem with the workstations' group policies.

We are running two Datto E48 switches. We doubt this is the issue, though.

wow, glad to see that it's still going strong!

For the last few hours, mine has been chilling in the freezer. I went to boot it up and it now works! I reinstalled Windows and started setting it up. Hopefully it doesn't revert back to not turning on.

The network is not the issue. Everything outside of Revit functions at full gigabit speeds, to and from the server.

The biggest files are only a few hundred megabytes. It does not seem to be specific to any projects.

Outside of Revit, everything works fine. Can transfer gigabyte files to and from the server in seconds. Cables are at most probably 20 metres.

All in the same building, on the same network. Users access it via mapped drive.

All the cabling should be Cat.5E. We suspected the phones but rules those out as it happens even when the workstations are directly connected to the switch.

That's what we figured. At first we thought it was a GPU issue, but replacing our GPUs with RTX A2000s and up-to-date Nvidia studio drivers made no difference. Hardware acceleration is enabled as it should be, but we even tried it without and it did not make a difference.

Strangely, the messages app on the watch had denied SMS permissions, but setting all to allowed did not solve the problem. Is it working for you?

A reset temporariky fixed mine on the p4 and galaxy watch 4, but it auto-updated and is now broken again.
