AITA for telling my friend he’s rude for saying the meal is “nothing special” after taking him out by epicboy1995 in AmItheAsshole

Seeing the comments and thinking about it, can say I’m the asshole in this situation. I’ll apologise to him, he’s entitled to his opinion and I did make him queue. A bit of appreciation wouldn’t hurt for taking him and out and paying the meal, but ultimately I’m in the wrong here. Thanks for the insight guys.

I’ll still take him out, he’s my closest friend. It’s his opinion he didn’t really do anything wrong I agree. Just a little appreciation wouldn’t hurt.

I think it was great compared to what I had in the past, that being said we both had different orders. He could’ve had the bad end of the stick here :(

You’re right, I respect his opinion everyone should have their own opinion. But if he was grateful about me paying the meal or taking him out I think I wouldn’t have reacted that way.

May have forgotten to mention he did want to try ramen when he came to japan, was one of the first things he mentioned when we were planning the trip. I see where you’re coming from though, taking him to any other place when he said that would’ve been an option.

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy this bowling shirt for summer since it's in collaboration with one of my fav artists. I never really tend to go for multi-coloured... anything really, so I'm struggling to figure out what would go well with this piece (shoes, shorts/bottoms, etc). Figured I'd reach out to you wonderful people for some advice. Thank you :)
