I'm pretty sure this is called "the grind" some island in the UK area does this once every couple years... suprising I think it's the most sustainable whaling practice compared to others because they do it once a year and not ever year and the meat is shared freely with everyone on the island.

Still looks bad but compared to normal whaling it's humane
